Happy New Year! 12/31/2008

I’ve remembered that Weebly works with American time, so it’s still 2008 there…weird.

Well all the best, my resolutions are:
Cut down on eating.
Exercise more.
Revise more.
Be a happier person.
Work on the “100 things to do before I die” list.

It’s unlikely I’ll keep ‘em, but worth a shot. :)

Less than 24 hours to go to 2009, let’s see how this one goes (I’ve yet to make resolutions!).

“Mac vs PC”

A Transformers style battle between the two, pretty cool with a hint of Terminator music. :)

I think I’ve recovered from all the gluttony, but those Pringles I see on the table won’t last long. :)

I think Fable II is great, but yesterday morning I was a child and in the evening I was already a happily married father of one, so a lot of its perks are already used up. Despite its shortness, I’d recommend it.

Merry Christmas! 12/25/2008

For those of you who have been in contact with the western world sometime in the last 2,000 years you’d know that today is Christmas Day. I wish all of you a merry Christmas and a happy new year. I still contain cynicism in the ever-growing commercialisation of the holiday season and it does piss me off that people are only thinking materialistically and disregarding the true meaning of Christmas (it’s in the name, hint hint (and yes I am being hypocritical due to the post about deciding what to get)). Well take care and worry about the headaches and bellyaches tomorrow…

“Straight No Chaser - 12 Days”

Well it’s…6 days! I would have paid more attention if my schedule wasn’t saturated in revision. Here’s a few Christmas carols in one.

When it’s freezing cold, getting dark, and still no bus, you start to get mad. I waited for one hour and there was no bus, then I went to another bus stop where I got on a bus and got pressurized and it broke down…I eventually got home 80 minutes late! For fuck’s sake, we all need to get home, especially when we’ve got revision for exams we’re going to fail.

“Funny Animation”

Well I typed in “funny” on YouTube and it had something that was exactly what it said on the tin, it must have took that guy ages to make.

Well firstly I’m glad to say that I’VE FINISHED MY GEOGRAPHY COURSEWORK! I’ll probably need to refine it a bit when I get it back in a few months (it’s been bugging me for about as long as this site has been here).

Secondly, this site has been blocked by my school, but it’s not just that…

You probably can’t make it out but it says it’s been blocked because of…profanity?! What the fuck?! When the do I swear on this site?! Oh well, about every site with a morsel of interest is blocked at school so it doesn’t really matter.

Lastly, I’ve decided what to get, Fable II, and maybe a preowned copy of Gears 1.

Well it’s that time of the year when we’re deciding what to get for Christmas, I didn’t really want anything because of the January exams and I don’t really need anything but I’ve been told to get a game or something, at least I can play it after the exams.

If I get a game or two, it’ll probably be one of these:
Call of Duty: World at War
Fable II
Gears of War II
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
(All on Xbox 360)

For those that have any of them, tell me if they’re worth it or not.
